Pinball Madness

Pinball Madness is a top down party game that I created with a team of students in order to experience the production cycle of creating games.

Major Accomplishments in creating Pinball Madness

  • Designed 4 of the levels included in the final product.

  • Scripted all objects that are included in the level.

  • Lead the other level designers for creating levels.

  • Oversaw the artist pipeline and did technical art for the levels and UI.

  • Created and organized design documentation for the mechanics and levels.

Multiple Levels

Pinball Madness includes 5 levels of which I designed and implemented 4 of them. Each level is created with the purpose of creating a specific experience for all the players

Neon Nights

Neon Nights features 3 power up platforms and provides one big main area of fighting with two one way side routes that loop back to it.

This map was created with the intention of breaking up the power up retrieval time and fighting time into two clearly separate sections of game play.

​

Singularity

This level has only 1 power up platform and provides a large open area to fight for it around.

​

The purpose of this map is to promote quick and intense game play.

​

Mind Warp

2 power up platforms are included in this level but the main focus is on the screen wrapping feature that is introduced to players. This map includes 1 fighting area and a single loop with one of the power up platforms being in each.

The purpose of this map is to show off the screen wrapping mechanic.

​

Supernova

This map includes two sides with a power up platforms and almost mirrored objects.

​

This map allows for side control type game play.
